The master of soul and house music left us on Thursday, August 10th at 1:14 am - I know he will continue to give us love through his memory.

During his time here, Felix was the most loving man. He always gave everything he could. So much positive energy and love. I know that he will live on in my mind and also with the many others he touched. He has proven that energy can be powerful when it is beautiful and true.

Felix's favorite song, that we shared together was "Paradise" by Change - there is a part of the song which says, "Reach for the sky..." that is sang in a very touching manner - I will always think of Felix and feel his this wonderful man when I hear this song. And I know that Felix is now in his "Paradise."

I will miss Felix's physical being more that anything in my life - but his energy will always be with me and alive in my memory.

(below) While visiting one day, Disco snagged Felix's wallet and chewed up the wallet and contents of it in the backyard.
Felix was very understanding and laughed it off. In his words, he said, "She went to town on that wallet!"

(Left) Being very silly: Felix and I were crazy about disco/dance music and always admired the LP covers. I did this crazy interpretation of a disco single using Hamilton Bohannan's "Summertime Groove" along with Felix and my face.
